The Critique

   So maybe you're new to photography and would like to hear some honest feed back about your photograph. Or maybe you've been doing this for awhile and want to improve your technique.Well, look no further.

Assuming you're willing to have your photograph become a post on this blog AND you don't mind having your photograph displayed for all the world to see read on.

   If you send me your photograph, hopefully with some sort of caption, maybe a little information about what you were trying to do, and on a scale of 1-10 how harsh you want me to be. 10 being, "Dude, you just made that 5 year old little girl cry" and 1 being, "Awe, that's so sweet, I'm so glad you like my photograph"

   Of course, I can't make every 5 year old cry, especially if they submit a great picture, but you get the idea.

   I'll evaluate each photo on it's technical merits and then try and come up with solutions and/or suggestions on how to improve your photo. You won't just read, "Geez, what a terrible photo." But you'll probably read, "I like the way you positioned your subject, did you consider shooting at a different angle? Or using a flash to get rid of the hat's shadow?"

   How knows you might just hear me say, "Wow, great shot."
